The Green Door Gallery at Kralja Petra 61, in the heart of Belgrade, is organizing an exhibition dedicated to Orthodox iconography for the third time in a row under the title "Perishable is earthly kingdom, but forever and ever is Kingdom of Heaven!" which will last from April 14th to 30th. The grand opening of the exhibition is scheduled for Monday, April 14th at 19:00.

This year's exhibition features more than 50 artists from all over Serbia who will present their works inspired by the Resurrection of Christ, in various techniques and on various substrates - from classical icon painting on a board, through mosaics, glass fusion, to modern forms of interpretation of holy images.

Easter is the foundation of the Christian faith, a symbol of the victory of life over death, light over darkness, and hope over hopelessness. The Bible says: "If Christ has not been raised, then our faith is in vain" (1 Cor. 15:14). The exhibition aims to bring the spiritual power and beauty of Easter closer to believers and art lovers of all generations through art.

During the exhibition, the gallery will organize icon painting workshops, and surprise gifts have been prepared for visitors. For more information and to register for the workshops, visit the Green Door Gallery's Instagram page.

Welcome to a space where art becomes prayer, and prayer - an image of eternity.
