Anticipating Easter, Manak's House is happy to invite all children and their parents to participate in a unique event - Open Day at Manak's House at Gavrila Principa Street 5. This event will be held on 12th April and will be dedicated to children but also to a beautiful charitable action aimed at helping children from Svratiste.
The event will provide you with a unique opportunity to learn about folk costumes and jewelry from the Central Balkans from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, collected by the famous collector Hristofor Crnilovic, through expert interpretation. The expert interpretation will be led by Maja Marjanovic, curator and head of Manak's House, who will introduce you to the richness and beauty of these exhibits.
- For the youngest, aged 8 to 13, a tour of the exhibition will be organized from 12:00 to 13:00
- For older participants, aged 14 to 17, the tour will start at 14:00.
This is also an opportunity for children to show their humanity and solidarity. A box will be placed in Manak's House where children, if they wish, can donate money for homeless children. The money collected will be given to the Center for Youth Integration, the Children's Shelter Svratiste on Zvezdara, in order to buy sweets for their friends who will spend the Easter holidays there.
We invite all interested parties to register as soon as possible! To register, you can contact Manak's House at +381 11 4093464 or by email at [email protected].
Don't miss this special opportunity to enjoy cultural heritage and participate in a wonderful charitable action!
