The 32nd BELEF enters the calendar on 20th June and will stay until 7th July. This year's name of the event is "Good Story". New performances, new conversations on new and old topics with actors and other artists, new gatherings and new art experiences are ready to mark your summer in Belgrade in 2024.
The main program includes a total of 31 art projects. The premiere event is scheduled for Thursday, 20th June from 20:00, when the Little Theatre Dusko Radovic will host a group from Zagreb that is performing the premiere play for Belgrade, Masks. On the same day, an hour earlier in the Vuk Theater on the Kult stage, the play Sine (The Rails) will be played. The next evening, 21st June, from 18:00, the National Theater is the venue for the play The Brothers Karamazov. The glass menagerie is a play that is also played on 21st June, but from 19:00 at the Vuk Theater. The Pinocchio Puppet Theater is reserved for the Hare and the Dog event on the same day from 17:00. The Three Little Pigs play is played in the same place, on the same day from 19:00.
Sunday, 23rd June from 20:00, is the date when the play Lungs is played in the Little Theatre Dusko Radovic.
Monday, 24th June brings the premiere of the play Tvoje i moje (Yours and Mine) at the Vuk Theater. Atelje 212 is reserved for the Stotinu malih smrti (One Hundred Little Deaths). At the Vuk Theater, but on the Kult stage, the play Niciji (Nobody's) is played.
Tuesday, 25th June is ideal for another premiere. Sada nije juli (Now it is not July) is coming to Atelje 212. On the same day, Sladoled (Ice Cream) is being played at Vuk Theater.
Every day of the festival brings innovation in an exquisite art form. There is no recommendation on what to see because the program is such that it really deserves a visit from the first to the last performance.
The accompanying program is not far behind the leading one. A walk through the legates of Ivo Andric, Jovan Cvijic and the Konak of Princess Ljubica will be organized on Friday and Saturday, 28th and 29th June, from 20:00 to midnight. The salon of the Museum of the City of Belgrade will tell "Stories from the salon" and "Stories of the city", and at the same time, a ceremonial launch of the Slavic Soundwalking application will be held.
Continuous improvement of the festival program has led to the fact that this event is loved by the audience. Bringing the artists who create and the audience that consumes artistic content closer together through long, good conversations led to the postponement of other obligations and a mandatory visit to BELEF. Get ready for great surprises and unforgettable moments.
