Since 1945, every May 9th, the Victory Day over Fascism has been celebrated around the world, the day when Germany capitulated in World War II.
Officials will mark this day by laying wreaths at the Monument to the Liberators of Belgrade. The "Immortal Regiment" is a walk through which people pay tribute to the great struggle of their ancestors.
Victory Day over Fascism carries a strong message and reminds us that freedom and peace are crucial for the entire planet. Over 40 countries annually mark the official end of World War II and the capitulation of fascist Germany.
