The trace as a record of what has been seen, experienced, and also revived, and the trace as a symbol of eternal change, natural changes, duration, and renewal is the dominant preoccupation and constant stimulus in the entire work of artist Ana Vidjen.
For more than six decades, the duration of her career, Ana has been exploring the effect of natural processes on matter itself, recognizing in them the possibility for artistic expression.
