Three-day event on the occasion of World Abandoned Animal Day

On Friday, April 4, admission will be free for visitors accompanied by their pets.
On Saturday, April 5, from 12:00 to 16:00, the museum will host a cat adoption event, and admission will be free.
On Sunday, April 6, in two sessions - from 10:00 and 12:30, workshops will be held to make pet houses (cats, birds, and insect shelters) that visitors will take home with them.
Workshop participants will also be given a lecture on the importance of ecosystems by Dr. Maja Rakovic and Andrea Novakovic from the Institute for Biological Research "Sinisa Stankovic". Due to the limited number of places, registration is required for participation in the workshops via email: [email protected].
The dog adoption event will take place on Sunday, from 12:00 to 16:00, and admission will be free for all those who come with their pets.
World Stray Animal Day is celebrated on April 4th at the initiative of Dutch activists, with the aim of raising awareness about the problem of stray animals, which, left to their own devices on the streets, often become victims of abuse and violence, but are also susceptible to various dangerous diseases.
